Sunday rolls around and you turn into the relaxing King (or Queen). You’ve slept in this morning, enjoyed some breakfast in bed or brunch out with your friends and you are all about just laying on the couch without any cares for the rest of the day. We have all been in this mode from time to time, but what if you did a few prep activities every Sunday that could give you the best week yet? It is never tooย early to start thinking about the week ahead of you!
Focus on ONE task.
It has been proven time and time again that you can accomplish more when you focus on one task at a time. You not only will get more done, but you will also get it done with more precision. To make your week accomplishing, maybe work on a task list and set goals for yourself to accomplish by the end of the week.
Plan to end work early.
What I mean by this is plan out your work week and tasks you need to accomplish to get them done by Thursday. Friday can be used to accomplish other tasks that came up during the week or get ahead on next week’s work.
Start early.
Set your alarm for tomorrow an hour earlier. If there is one thing that is common when it comes to successful entrepreneurs, it is that they always wake up early. If you have personal things you need to take care of each day, try and take care of them first thing so that your work does not distract you from them during the rest of your day. Whether this is getting in a workout, organizing the pantry or taking the dog for a walk…
Work in increments.
No one can go full throttle all day, every day. A good rule is to follow is to work 25 minutes, then give yourself a break for five minutes. In the long run, youโll accomplish more as you won’t get overloaded or feel clouded in the mind.
Create a list of everyday tasks.
We all have things that we need to do every day. Take out your calendar and schedule yourself time to do your ‘once a day’ tasks. Once a day tasks can be tasks like, check your email, check your voicemail, take your vitamins, workout, check your social networks, etc.
What is one thing you like to do on Sunday to prep for your week ahead?
