It is that time again when we cross over to a new month and flip the page on our wall hanging calendars. You take a moment to see what the new picture lies above the calendar for the new month. You may have a comment and move along. Or maybe that is a habit of the past and you just look at your calendar on the phone to see if you have anything important for the day.
Whichever person you are, or maybe you are both, what about making new goals when a new month starts? I know it is a bit clichรฉ but there is a lot to be said about making yourself make goals. It is a chance to get ahead and bit and narrow down some specific things you would like to accomplish. Not just fitness goals but any kind of goals. Like cleaning out your closet, drinking more water, watch less TV or for the cable cutters watching less Netflix.
How about this for a goal? November is pretty much the start to all the holiday madness. Why not get a jump start on keeping up some routines and hold yourself accountable to a healthy lifestyle, since we all know that is WAY harder to maintain once Thanksgiving rolls around. It seems like from Thanksgiving to the New Year are diets are always a little bit out of wack, for lack of better terms.
If you weren’t thinking too hard about November and setting goals, then I challenge you to pick some things that can keep you on track for the month. If you start them now then those habits will be easier to keep up with when the holiday madness ensues. What do you have to lose? Give it a try.
Heck maybe even dive into the Pinterest pit holes of Bullet Journaling. Now that type of journals knows how to set some goals and keep you on track!
