Meet EBOOST Ambassador Lauren Hutchinson
After working for Barry’s Bootcamp in Dallas, SF, and NYC, Lauren booked a one-way ticket back to NYC to pursue my dream of becoming an instructor. Originally from San Francisco, Lauren is a certified personal trainer and running enthusiast, but when she is not training she is usually at a music festival/concert looking for new music. She has run a couple half marathons, the full Dallas Marathon and can’t wait for a shot at the New York City Marathon one year!
What does your typical workout routine look like?
A typical day begins with a 4am wake up teaching and taking class at Barry’s Bootcamp. I love high-intensity interval training 6 days a week, usually at Barry’s, hitting Central Park for some miles, and/or going to New York Sports Club to fit in some extra lifting. I also always try my best to slow it down for some yoga and meditation each week!
What type of diet do you stick to?
I am constantly eating!! I always try to eat something before my workouts usually consisting of a banana, almond butter, and oatmeal, and immediately follow up my workouts with some healthy breakfast tacos and/or a protein shake. I’m addicted to Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi for lunch and/or dinner; Otherwise, being a pescatarian my meals generally consist of fish, a salad, sweet potatoes, various fruits, and vegetables. No matter WHAT I always finish dinner off with some dark chocolate and crunchy almond butter. I have the most insane sweet tooth!
I think that it’s important to look at your life and see what you chose every day. Those things are your passion. Those are the things worth standing for. For me it was fitness, and now it’s EBOOST. Every day I grab a Super Fuel to power me through my day of teaching/workouts/everyday activities. Favorite EBOOST product?
SUPER FUEL. Hands down. I know that what I’m putting in my body is clean energy, and it never leaves me with that jittery feeling that coffee always did.
