Sabrina Wieser a long distance runner that also loves to lift heavy โ which is very uncommon for marathoners but that is what she loves and is grateful that her body allows her to perform well in both sports.
Most of Sabrina’s clients choose her as their coach because they follow the same goal: Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, but Sabrina loves to look strong. She also likes proving people wrong who think that heavy lifting and long-distance running doesnโt get along, or wonโt work. Years back when strength training wasnยดt part of Sabrina’s routine, she lost a lotย of weight and was constantly getting injured. It is possible to build lean muscle mass and train for long distance events.ย Sabrina proves this by doing both sports very ambitious for over 3 years now and she never been healthier, faster and stronger and she keeps making progress. Her favorite race is the New York City Marathon. Sabrina thinks itโs the most magical 26.2 miles a runner can possibly run.
With EBOOST products in hand, what does your typical workout routine look like?
Iโm an early bird โ I usually run very early in the morning before work and get in my gym session at night. I like to challenge myself and to try new things all the time. Running and bodybuilding is already a challenge for my body every single day, but if I can choose hills and bridges or a flat terrain Iโd always go for the more difficult workout.
What type of diet do you stick to?
I honestly love to eat and I eat a lot. Most of the times I end up with 5 small meals per day and I know most runners would answer this question with: โI eat everythingโ โ I do not. My diet depends on what Iโm training for. During marathon training, I eat high carbs or high fats plus the amount of proteins and greens that Iโd need that day. During my off-season I reduce my carbohydrate intake, but never take them out of my diet completely โ Itโs my perfect source of energy. My favorite snack is strawberries and my cheat meal is usually pizza.
Why did you choose to be an EBOOST Ambassador? What is your favorite EBOOST product? Why?
Combining both sports requires a lot of energy and endurance. It is everything but easy. On some days I run 13 miles in the morning and then train legs at night. For days like that, I enjoy the workout crusher. It doesnโt work like a regular pre-workout that you can buy at the store and I normally stay away from. It is made for endurance sports as well with no crash during longer workouts. It has natural caffeine and also helps with faster recovery, so Iโm ready for my next run as soon as possible.
