Meet EBOOST Ambassador Ayana Frierson
Meet Ayana Frierson, RYT 200! The Brooklyn native was first introduced to yoga over 4 years ago. After a fitness-related injury, she began to deepen her practice which ultimately led her to develop a passion for teaching. She currently teaches public and private classes throughout NYC. Her classes have a fun and energetic spirit with a soulful touch. Ayana is also a competitive bikini fitness athlete, placing 5th in Bikini Novice C at the 2017 NPC Brooklyn Grand Prix and 3rd in Bikini Novice C at the 2017 NPC Eastern USA Championships. In her spare time, she loves to cook, play the guitar, binge watch 90s TV shows, and laugh hysterically while listening to The Read podcast. Next up, Ayana plans to continue her yoga teacher training for her RYT 500 certification, and she is currently training for her next bikini fitness show in 2019.
What is Your Workout Routine?
My current workout routine is a combination of power weight training, which trains for strength and speed and Ashtanga yoga, which is a form of yoga that involves following a set sequence of poses that synchronizes the breath with movement.
What is Your Favorite Exercise?
My favorite exercise is lifting heavy barbell squats.
What is Your Typical Diet?
I am not following a specific diet plan currently but I am counting my macros and working towards a fat loss program.
What is Your Favorite EBOOST Product? Flavor?
My favorite product is the POW pre-workout powder, the berry melon flavor. I love that the pre-workout really gives me the energy that I need for all of my workouts, even for the most rigorous lifting sessions. It really allows me to perform to my greatest potential without the crash and jitters that other pre-workouts leave you with. Plus, it tastes like juice!
