Katie Waissel: Former TV personality in London, and Former Singer-Songwriter (7th series of X-Factor)
Hi! My name is Katie Waissel, so great to meet you! Having spent the past 15 years in the Music Industry, I have had the wonderful honor of meeting people from all over the world, each person with a different story and goal they are striving towards. It didnโt matter if you were from London or NYC, we all had one thing in common. We are all only human, with a passion and drive that we wake up with each day, hoping that it would be the day that we are one step closer to whatever it is that we have in the forefront of our minds. And it is this sentiment that has led me here to share my story with you! Two years ago my love and passion for Health & Fitness turned into a thirst and quest for knowledge and understanding of it, with the goal to be able to share my newfound wisdom with whoever asked for it. I became my own guinea pig, trying and testing group fitness classes, eliminating multiple food groups and putting them back in, to see what myths were really best left at sea, and even went as far as to try pretty much everything you can find at GNC or Wholefoods in the supplement section! Once I had finally found the ideal theory for my bodyworks, studying for NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) was the next big step to ensure that I could find the ideal theory for you too! Now, my day to day consists of coaching as @myfitnessfriendofficial ensuring people are motivated, inspired, and informed. Always encouraging people to be the best versions of themselves from the inside out!

EBOOST gives me the perfect POW to keep my going through my workout and SPRUCES me up for the rest of the day!
What is your workout routine?
I typically like to work out for an hour, 5 times a week, in a group fitness setting such as OrangeTheory Fitness or Flywheel Sports, ensuring to combine strength training with solid cardio. However, I tend to implement my little โlife hacksโ on a daily basis to get my heart rate pumping! I find it fun to set myself goals and challenges using my Step Count or Walk Tracker so I can visually watch and track my progress.
What is your typical diet?
The word Diet always gives me the heeby-jeebies! For some reason, it conjures up visuals of celery sticks and bland chicken breast, and something that instills a feeling of negativity! I personally prefer looking at โWhat I Eat Day To Dayโ with a more positive, creative and innovative outlook. Food doesnโt have to be boring, or entirely restrictive. Just like how I enjoy getting creative with my workouts, I also whole-heartedly enjoy getting creative with yummy alternative options to some of my favorite old school go toโs. I tend to stick to the Non-Processed routine. I feel that what goes in, must come out. And what I mean by that, is if I can be โcleanโ on the inside, creating a healthy environment through smart, nutritional intake, then the side effect will result from being healthy on the outside. And it works! There is no โEnd Dateโ, no 30 days to โskinnyโ, or 2-week quick fix, it is a LIFESTYLE to embrace. I LOVE to cook! So I’d say my favorite Go-Toโs are my famous Home Made Turkey Meatballs, Home Made Soups, and Crispy Oven Roasted Brussels Sprouts, even great cold in a salad!
