This workout is great for beginners who want to dip their toes into the world of boxing and see if it might be something for you. What we can guarantee is a great full-body sweaty workout. EBOOST At-Home Boxing Workout
Each circuit in this workout is three minutes long. The reason for this is because that is how long a fighter has each round in a ring.
Warm-up: Perform these three exercises for three rounds
50 Jumping Jacks
20 Mountain Climbers
10 Jump Squats
Round 1
1-1-2 aka Jab-Jab-Cross
- Start in a standing position. Step your right foot back. With your elbows tucked into your side, bring your hands into fists in front of your face.
- For “1”, extend your left arm out straight in front of you. Twist your fist as you come forward, ending with the wrist parallel to the ground. Then bring your first back into starting position.
- For “2”, this time your left fist is going to stay by your face to “protect” your face. Too extend your right first in front of you, you are going too rotate your hips and twist your back foot. Then bring your first back into starting position.
- For this complete combo, do Step 2 twice and then Step 3.
- Repeat this combo, snapping your punches in and out as quickly as you can. Keep going for one minute.
High Knees for one minute
Burpees for one minute
Round 2
1-2-3 aka Jab-Cross-Hook
- For this round, start with a 1-2.
- Then, add on a 3 aka left hook.
- Keeping your left arm at a 90-degree angle, bring your elbow up to around shoulder height, then quickly punch it to the center of your body at about eye height.
- Keep going for one minute.
Jump Squats for one minute
Push Ups for one minute
Round 3
1-2-3-6 aka jab-cross-hook-uppercut
- You know 1-2-3.
- Now, to add 6, bring your right arm down towards your hip at a 90-degree angle. Then quickly scoop it up to the center of your face.
- Keep going for one minute.
Speed Skaters for one minute
Sit-ups for one minute
