Here we are sharing ‘3 Bodyweight Tabatas to Torch Your Muscles’.
For those that need a reminder or have never done a Tabata workout before, a Tabata is only 4 minutes long. It consists of you going all out as hard as you can for 20 seconds, followed by 10 sections of rest. Repeating this cycle 7 more times, which gets you to the full 4 minutes.
For those of you wondering, a Tabata workout is a HIIT workout but a HIIT workout is not a Tabata. A Tabata is a HIIT workout in the sense that you are going all out as hard as you can which is what HIIT isโhigh-intensity interval training. And much like a HIIT implies, a Tabata is of a set interval.
Abs Tabata
- Sit-ups
- Planks
- Mountain Climbers
- Double Crunch
Complete a Tabata of each exercise before moving on to the next one. This workout will take you 16 minutes.
Lower Body Tabata
- Air Squats
- Jump Lunges
- Speed Skaters
- Squat Pulses

Upper Body Tabata
- Shoulder Taps
- Burpees
