Today is the day you have been waiting for all week, a rest day! HECK YEAH!
It is extremelyย important to rest while working out. Your body needs time to recover from the intense work you put in the first three days of this week. As much as resting is important, what you are eating this week is just as important too. Even though we do not have an eating plan set up with this challenge, we thought we could inspire you or educate you on a meal that is perfect to eat while doing this challenge. This week we are going to start with something a bit on the simpler side, as many of us need to have meals that are quick and easy to eat. It may be no surprise to a lot of you, but today we are going to share some of our favorite smoothies as well as our tips and tricks to build the perfect smoothie for your needs.
Favorite EBOOST Protein Smoothies*
A Fall Inspired Pumpkin Protein Smoothie
3 Keto (aka high fat) Friendly Smoothies
EBOOST Vanilla Cherry Smoothie
*these recipes ask for our grass-fed whey protein PRIME, but if you do not have this on hand then feel free to replace it with your own protein powder you have on hand or some plain nonfat Greek yogurt.
If you are interested in creating your own protein smoothie goodness (because maybe you don’t have any of these ingredients or maybe they just don’t sound that appetizing to you, then no worries at all) then you may want to check out our blog on ‘How to Create a Better Smoothie in 4 Easy Steps’.
If you are someone that needs to grab theirย smoothie from a juice bar or local cafe, then reading ‘How Many Calories Are Hiding in Your Smoothie?’ might be worth a read before placing your to-go order.
