The 8 Minute 8 Round Workout

Aka the workout that is 8 rounds and only last 8 minutes–sounds too good to be true right!? Well, if by that you mean you think you will get a good workout in just 8 minutes then you are correct. If you think this is just an easy workout to work in, then you are wrong but not completely wrong. This workout is in fact just 8 minutes long but it will be a super intense give it all you got type of workout in just 8 minutes. This workout is not for a beginner and it is not for someone that is just looking to break a little sweat in 8 minutes. This workout requires your full-on intensity and does not provide a whole lot of rest.

The best part of this workout is that you should do it today because today marks 8 days before Christmas and if you are looking for a mini challenge to give yourself to work on until Christmas then this is a great one for you because you can change it to match the number of days we have until Christmas is here. (We will explain more about that after we tell you more about the workout)

The 8 Minute 8 Round Workout

What does this mean exactly? The 8 minute 8 round workout, means you will be completing 8 rounds with each round lasting for one minute which then adds to 8 minutes. For those of you that want to sweat and kick your booty even more, then just repeat the workout until you feel satisfied, but remember there are no rests in this workout, unlike a Tabata workout that is 8 minutes in length, no this one is straight on through without any rest.

Minute 2 – jump squats

Minute 3 – jumping speed skaters

Minute 4 – high jump knee tucks

Minute 5 – high knees

Minute 6 – jump lunges, alternate legs each jump

Minute 7 – jump squats

Minute 8 – jumping speed skaters

For those of you that are looking to keep up the challenge until Christmas, then just shave off the last minute each day so that when there are 6 days left until Christmas, you are only doing this workout until minute 6. The extra challenge in this will be to get in more repetitions since you are working out in a shorter amount of time moving forward.
