January can be full of too many people trying to start a diet. If there is one thing to know, January is not the only month to start a diet. You can start a diet at any time, but maybe you should instead shift your way of thinking of the new year. Instead, of trying out the next trendiest diet, why not focus on simple things that can leave a big impact? This article is not about us saying that New Year Resolutions are full of bologna. In fact, we are all about setting goals. The real issue is when we start diets, workout regimens, etc and don’t stick to them so instead of starting a diet, try focusing on these few things and you may surprise yourself. These few things can really leave an impact and encourage you (when you least expect it) to actually be more on a diet and strict to it more than any new year’s resolution.
4 Reasons to Throw Your Diet Out the Window
Dry January
Or any month… we have been hearing a lot of people this month sticking to a no alcohol plan and we are all for it. Resetting the year sober can open your eyes to things you love that you may not have even known before. Instead of winding down to some wine, brew yourself some tea instead or drink a green juice. We personally love creating a little happy hour time with our SUPER POWDERs, they make for a delicious and healthy mocktail full of vitamins and minerals your body needs every day. If there is one thing to get addicted to drinking this month, turn to SUPER POWDER.
One Smoothie A Day
Blend up a smoothie every day for a week, then if all is working out great try for another week and then another and then before you know it you just might be the next smoothie queen (or king). Just remember to load your smoothies with greens and not just fruit. Prioritize Sleep
Sleep is so important to manage stress levels and even regulate appetite. After busy holidays full of extra sweets and less sleep, focusing on your sleep in January is a great way to start the year off on the right track.
Restock the Fridge and Cupboards
Everything that is leftover from the holidays, just throw it out.ย You don’t need that honey baked ham in the freezer any longer.ย Go ahead and throw out anything in your cupboards that is expired or not a part of a healthy diet.ย Then take the time to make a list of your healthy staples and head to the store to make sure you are stocked up. Make sure to not go to the grocery store hungry and make sure you buy plenty of easy to eat healthy snacks.
