Each week we are challenging you to focus on your health and fitness for all 7 days each week, including five days of workouts, one full rest day, and one active rest day. This is by no means a strict plan you need to follow. Making excuses burns zero calories per hour.
For this week’s lower body routine, we are going to focus on higher repetitions while also throwing in a lower body exercise that will spike your heart rate, keeping it elevated during the duration of this workout. Basically, we are rolling yesterday’s workout into this one, as if yesterday’s wasn’t challenging enough.
This workout can be done with just your body weight or feel free to add in some dumbbells to up the challenge.
Before you workout, make sure to warm up your body for about 5-10 minutes. This can easily be done by walking on the treadmill at a decent speed.
Day 3: Lower Body**
30 Sumo Squats
10 Box Jumps
30 Lateral Lunges (total)
10 Box Jumps
30 Step-Ups (total)
10 Box Jumps
30 Bridges
10 Box Jumps
30 Single Leg Squats
10 Box Jumps
30 Grasshoppers
10 Box Jumps
**Repeat as many time as possible until you have completed this workout for 30-40 minutes.
