The temperatures have dropped and you find yourself staying inside a bit more than you would like. Maybe now is the perfect time to step outside and give an outdoor workout a try. For some of us, the temperatures don’t drop too low to where you have to pile on the layers of clothes to just stay warm. Yet, for others keeping warm is definitely something to be concerned about. Sub-zero temps or not, there are definitely some essentials items that everyone should have to use during their next outdoor workout.
Invest In A Vest
Working out outside is a welcoming breeze of fresh air encompassing your body, as you step out the front door. Taking advantage of Mother Nature in all of her glory wouldn’t be too fun if you were worried about if you are warm enough for the first 15 minutes of your workout. My rule of thumb is that I want to be a bit cool when I step outside before my workout. Within the first few minutes of my workout, I start to build up some heat which should be the perfect amount to keep yourself warm without overheating. A good middle ground item I like to wear is a vest. This keeps my chest warm, yet it is breathable and gives my arms plenty of movement. With technology these days, there are plenty of vests out there that provide tons of warm but are still super lightweight.
Find Breathable Gloves
Having to put your hands in your pockets during a workout isn’t the most effective way to workout. In order to keep your hands free and warm, make sure you get yourself some gloves. Not just any gloves though, breathable moisture wicking gloves.
Leggings Are Not All Created Equal
Budgeting is an important habit to have, but so is keeping warm. Make sure you keep room in your budget to invest in a high quality, yet warm pair of leggings. You will want to be able to move freely while still keeping your lower appendagesย warm.
When In Doubt EBOOST It Out
Yeah, I am not sure if that really makes sense, but you know the drill. Make sure you fuel yourself up with EBOOST POW before you head outside for your workout to get the full enchilada out of your workout!
