Yes โbakeโ. When using probiotics in your cooking or baking or adding it to recipes, etc. you definitely donโt want to actually cook the probiotic. Cooking it will kill all of the good bacteria that you are trying to add to your gut in the first place. Sticking to recipes that donโt require any heat will be your best friend to adding probiotics to. Adding probiotics to recipes is easy, as it doesnโt change the flavor yet adds the healthy gut goodness to your meal.
Here are three recipes we have created in the past โ adding probiotics to them is easy and beneficial.
EBOOST Probiotic Zucchini Brownies
We shared the recipe for these bad boys last week. They are the more complicated recipes out of the ones we are sharing but already have the instructions in the recipe about how and when to add in the probiotics. The trick here is to add it to the top layer, as the bottom layer does get cooked in the microwave. When adding the probiotic aka our very own probiotic EBOOST CULTURE to the top layer aka ganache, you want to find the small window in between where the ganache has cooled down but hasnโt started to bet too hard to where you wouldnโt be able to spread it on the brownies. Good Luck, you can do it!
EBOOST Chocolate Protein PRIME Balls
This is another goodie of ours. I canโt help but think of South Park with Chef and his โchocolate salty ballsโ. Anyone else with me? Whenever theses guys are around, I canโt help myself but reach for another one. The original recipe does not list how to incorporate the probiotics, which is totally fine. The point is to show you how easy it is to add in probiotics. With the PRIME balls, you literally treat your CULTURE probiotic like any other ingredient in the recipe. Making sure that you open the capsule to release the powder into the mix. I would suggest using four capsules for this recipe and make sure it is mixed in well for even distribution!
Any Smoothie
It is literally as simple as it comes. Open your CULTURE capsule and dump it right into any smoothie you ever make. We have some great smoothie recipes here and here.
Have you ever tried adding your probiotics to your food instead of just ingesting the capsule? If so, what are some tips you can share?
