With the Fourth of July approaching quickly (Where did the year go already?), what a perfect time to get a little patriotic and creative in the kitchen. These red, white, and blue healthy cocktails (or easily made into mocktails by removing the alcohol) are a fun way to enjoy the holiday while being a bit healthier. We go the healthy route with these drinks by keeping out the refined sugar and adding in vitamins and minerals.
Patriotic Frozen Stripe Slush
ingredients
Red Layer
- 2 packets of Stevia or 3 TBS honey
- 1 cups frozen raspberries
- 1 TBS juice from a lime
- 1 packet Pink Lemonade SUPER POWDER
- 4 ounces rum
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
White Layer
- 1/4 cup coconut cream
- 1 frozen banana, sliced
- 2 ounces rum
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
Blue Layer
- 2 packets of Stevia or 3 TBS honey
- 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
- 4 ounces rum
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
instructions
- In a blender, combine the rum and SUPER POWDER first. Then add the rest of the red layer ingredients.
- Pour evenly into 4 glasses and then place in the freezer.
- Rinse out the blender.
- Wait 20 minutes for the mixture to set in the freezer.
- In your blender, combine all of the white layer ingredients and blend until smooth. Remove glasses out of the freezer and pour the white layer on top.
- Pour evenly into 4 glasses and then place in the freezer.
- Rinse out the blender.
- Wait 20 minutes for the mixture to set in the freezer.
- In your blender, combine all of the blue layer ingredients and blend until smooth. Remove glasses out of the freezer and pour the blue layer on top.
- Enjoy!
Red, White, and Blue Sangria
ingredients
- 1 bottle zero sugar white wine
- 1 pint organic blueberries
- 1 pint organic raspberries
- 24 oz club soda
instructions
- In a pitcher mix together the wine and club soda.
- Grab a glass and put a layer of blueberries on the bottom.
- Then layer raspberries on the blueberries.
- Pour the wine soda mixture on top.
- Repeat.
EBOOST’s Berry Patriotic Cocktail
ingredients
- 1 part gin
- 1 packet SUPER POWDER acai pomegranate
- 1 packet stevia or TBS honey
- splash of club soda
- 1/4 cup strawberries
- 1/2 cup blueberries
instructions
- Muddle strawberries with the stevia.
- Mix gin and SUPER POWDER in a glass.
- In another glass, add muddled strawberries to a glass and top with ice.
- Pour gin and SUPER POWDER mixture into your serving glass.
- Top with the club soda and blueberries.
