If being able to eat pie every morning for breakfast didn’t result in acquiring every health issue known to man, then I think those childhood dreams of dessert for breakfast every morning would be our reality. So we can’t technically eat pie every morning for breakfast but that doesn’t mean we can’t come up with a delicious and healthy alternative.
Today we are serving up a green apple pie smoothie that can be altered to make two different ways–one as a breakfast smoothie and second version that is a great pre or post workout shake.
Green Apple Pie Breakfast Smoothie
serves 1
ingredients
10 oz unsweetened nut milk
2-4 oz water
1/2 cup plain yogurt*
2-3 tablespoons raw oats
1-2 scoops EBOOST SPRUCE
1 scoop unflavored protein powder (or vanilla, like our EBOOST PRIME, vanilla for a sweeter taste)
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Sprinkle of cinnamon
*If you don’t have plain yogurt around, you can substitute ice as well. Your smoothie or shake just won’t be as creamy.
instructions
- Place all of the ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until desired consistency is achieved.
- Enjoy.
Green Apple Pie (Pre or Post Workout) Shake

2-4 oz apple juice or water
1 banana*
2-3 tablespoons raw oats
1-2 scoops EBOOST SPRUCE
1 scoop unflavored protein powder (or vanilla, like our EBOOST PRIME, vanilla for a sweeter taste)
Sprinkle of cinnamon
*If you don’t have a banana, you can substitute ice as well. Your smoothie or shake just won’t be as creamy.
