An EBOOST Coconut Protein Smoothie, 3 Ways.

Who else lately can’t seem to get enough coconut in their life. There seems to be something about a hot sweaty day and coconut water or a coconut smoothie that just seems to feel that much more refreshing. Coconut is one of those foods that can be pretty versatile while packing in a lot of nutrients. Plus, taking a page out of a Hawaiian’s book doesn’t seem like a bad idea since they have the longest life expectancy out of any state in the US. Here are 3 coconut protein smoothie recipes.

A serving of coconut delivers calcium, magnesium, potassium, protein, carbohydrates, fiber, and healthy to your body. Next time you feel like something a bit more refreshing try one of these coconut protein smoothies on for size. They make a great post-workout smoothie to refuel your body after a workout.

Coconut Cream Pie Protein Shake

recipe by Love and Zest

ingredients

1 frozen banana

¾ cup unsweetened coconut milk

1 serving EBOOST PRIME, vanilla

1 TBS coconut oil

2 TBS unsweetened coconut flakes + additional for topping

½ cup ice

1 TBS coconut cream (optional topping)

instructions

  1. Place banana, coconut milk, protein powder, coconut oil, coconut flakes, and ice into a high powered blender and blend until creamy.
  2. For whipped topping, add coconut cream to small bowl and whip with electric mixer until fluffy. Dollop onto of shake and dust with more coconut flakes.

coconut chocolate protein smoothie

Chocolate Peanut Butter Coconut Protein Smoothie

ingredients

1 cup unsweetened coconut milk

1 serving EBOOST PRIME, chocolate

1/2 frozen banana

1 Tbsp almond butter

Toasted coconut, for garnish

instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients into a high-speed blender.
  2. Add more milk if needed to get things moving along in the blender.
  3. Top with toasted coconut

Greens Coconut Protein Smoothie

ingredients

½ cup frozen blueberries (or more to taste)

1/4 cup canned full fat coconut milk

1-2 TBS maple syrup

1 serving EBOOST PRIME, vanilla

2 cups chopped kale

½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

water if needed to thin out ingredients

instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for 3-4 minutes, or until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately.
