I don’t know about you, but I get a little bit excited when I am in the part of town where I can hit up Trader Joe’s. There is something about the ease of shopping there, going in for the staples, and then getting the heck out. There isn’t a lot of extra things filling up the aisles at Trader Joe’s so I never feel like it turns into this long drawn out grocery shopping experience. When it comes to Trader Joe’s there are definitely a few items I always make sure to grab, even if I already have plenty of them at home.
Raw Almond Butter
Sometimes I wonder what all is in this. The ingredients say just almonds, but it tastes like it is too good to be true. This stuff is literally my weak spot. There are weeks when the jar doesn’t even make it through the whole week. Oops
Because where else can you get organic bananas for such a great price. I mean $0.29 each? I always try and grab the biggest ones I can to really get your bang for your buck.
Shaved Brussels Sprouts or Riced Cauliflower
Depending on which one I pick up all depends on the season. Lately, I have been reaching for both bags. However, it is definitely Brussels Sprouts season and I love roasting them in the oven. The shaved Brussels Sprouts makes it super easy to just spread them out on a baking pan with some coconut oil.
Okay, so I probably don’t pick this stuff up every time, since it lasts a heck of a long time but it is my favorite. I love the coconut oil spray for my Brussels Sprouts and the Ghee for my Riced Cauliflower, amongst many other things I love using both products for.
White Egg Salad
The egg white salad is a great grab ‘n go item for lunch. I usually grab two contains to fulfill up on protein. There are two flavors floating around but sometimes not all Trader Joe’s get both flavors. If you do find both flavors, grab one of each and mix them together when you are ready to eat them!
