Summer might be ‘over’ but that doesn’t mean our cravings for ice cream or something sweet go away too–sometimes I wish they did!
Of course, it is totally healthy to indulge a little here in there with dessert, but I think life is a bit more freeing when you don’t have to worry about what you are eating, knowing that it isn’t ‘bad’ for you from the beginning. Enter chocolate banana protein ice cream. It is tasty, healthy and high in protein. The perfect dessert for whenever the ice cream craving hits. And you don’t need an ice cream maker to make this recipe!
EBOOST Chocolate Protein Ice Cream
3 ripe medium bananas or 2 large
1 cup unsweetened vanilla nut milk
2 scoops chocolate PRIME
pinch xanthan gum
blend all ingredients together
pour in reusable ice cream container or Tupperware
freeze for 2-5 hours depending on the temp of the freezer
pull out, if pretty frozen, then sit for 20 minutes before scooping out into bowls.
