Black Ice Cream aka ‘Goth Ice Cream’ is flooding everyone’s Instagram accounts in Los Angeles and when I caught wind of this I had to know what the heck it is!
This trendy black ice cream gets its color not from artificial colors, as you know we don’t like artificial colors, but from activated charcoal. Yes, charcoal and yes you can ingest it. Something we have already been into as a lot of health experts are is filtering our water with activated charcoal.
Making the ice cream comes from activated charcoal powder.
But before we share how easy it is to make black ice cream to speak to your darker side, let’s chat activated charcoal a second.
Activated charcoal is well known as an antidote as it absorbs most organic toxins, chemicals, and poisons before they can harm the body. It has been used in Emergency rooms for years and has a deep history that you can learn more here. You’ve probably also noticed that people are using it to whiten their teeth and is being used in a lot of face masks.
Since we aren’t all living in Los Angeles soaking up the sun easily able to get black ice cream from Little Damage, today we are sharing a super easy and fun way to turn your ice cream black– of course, it is healthy too!
