In case you were living under a rock, tomorrow is Super Bowl Ll – New England Patriots versus Atlanta Falcons.
Even if you aren’t a sports person or the two teams playing aren’t your pride and joy, just attending a Super Bowl Party can be the ‘party of the year’.
We are talking food galore, drinks flowing, funny commercials and news-worthy half-time shows.
If all of the food has you worried about your waistline and overall health. My trick to every party I attend is to bring something I know that I am comfortable putting in my body.
Guacamole with raw organic veggies is always a staple for me to bring to every gathering. This time though I decided to add a new flavor profile to the good ol’ fashion guacamole. If you have some SPRUCE® on hand, give this recipe a try for tomorrow (and I would suggest tripling the recipe for those that will want to go up for thirds and fourths).
Super SPRUCE® Bowl Guacamole
1 Red Delicious apple, peeled and diced
1/2 small white onion, diced
1 jalapeno pepper, minced
2 Hass avocado, diced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Mix all ingredients together and serve with raw veggies and gluten free crackers.
