A new study from the BMJ shows, that your hangover may not be the worse thing in the world. However, it is all dependent on how much you drink and what your drink of choice is.
Drinking in moderation apparently, does do the body some good.
The data from two million people (yes, TWO million, not just one) showed that moderate drinking lowers the risk of heart attacks, strokes, or death from heart disease.
In this study moderate drinking for women this means one glass of wine and for men two glasses of wine – not three shots, two whiskey sours, and a side beer.
Sounds like Happy Hour just got a bit more happier (and healthier).
